Academics
| Academics Grace Christian Academy provides an academic program that is appropriate for elementary and middle school. Students learn skills and understand concepts through communication and investigation. Teachers use traditional approaches such as phonics and phonemic awareness, drill and practice, as well as hands-on exploration and discovery. Grace Christian Academy uses up-to-date curriculum aligned to the California state standards. Students at GCA are assessed yearly by taking the SAT 10 test to determine their progress in core subject areas such as: reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. In order to provide the best possible environment for learning, Grace Christian Academy is committed to 20 or less students per class. If a class grows to over 20, we will hire a new teacher and split the class. We see the results -- children thrive in a small, intimate environment. |
